According to UN Women, women’s economic empowerment provides many benefits:
  • It’s central to realising women’s rights and gender equality
  • When more women work, economies grow
  • Women’s economic equality is good for business
By empowering women in the economy and closing gender gaps, progress will be made to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, including ending poverty, food security, ensuring health and reducing inequalities.

"Resilience, Persistence, Staying the Course and Supporting Other Women to Achieve Greatness - together we can achieve brilliance and ensure we can all get there and stay there!"
- Mary Massina, CEO Macquarie Point, 2018 Forum Speaker
We believe that by coming together and uniting to promote economic empowerment and growth for women we will make a world of difference.
The 2019 Women Making a World of Difference Forum will gather industry professionals and business leaders from around the world to discuss dynamic and practical ways to:
Empower Women in developing communities
Lead authentically and ethically
Promote business sustainability
By sharing insights to challenge perceptions, the Forum seeks to inspire long lasting impact - a world of difference - that each of us can make in our own lives.

I have always aspired to be the best version of me and encouraged others to be the best version of themselves. We are not defined by our gender, age, position, background - but by our passions, our integrity and our care for others in our community. This year's national forum provides the unique ability to be inspired by others journeys and insights and to reflect on our own life journey to date.
